At this time, I am currently only donating to

greyhound events which I attend as a vendor,

Vendors Enabling Greyhound Adoption (VEGA) auctions,

and greyhound events benefiting the Morris Animal Foundation, such as Greyhounds Reach The Beach (DE),

the Great Lakes Greyhound Gathering (MI),

and the Greyt Greyhound Gathering (OH).

I love animals of all kinds, and would like to be able to help them all. I feel very strongly about adopting pets from shelters or adoption groups, rather than buying them from stores. I encourage spaying or neutering of family pets to prevent pet overpopulation, to learn as much as you can about caring properly for your animal, and to train it as much as is possible, so it makes a good family pet. These three things will help keep more pets out of shelters and humane societies.

However, all this desire to help every animal does present a bit of a problem to Feathered Gems. You see, this is a very small and specialized business. I would love to be able donate something to every group who asked me for something for their raffle, auction or sales table. But if I did that, I'd soon be out of business. 

So unfortunately I have to limit my donations.

As soon as I can get photos taken, I will be offering wholesale charm assortments to 501(c)(3) registered adoption and rescue groups for resale for fundraising purposes.
